A breadth subject is a subject which is from a different area of study than the degree which you are enrolled in. The aim of breadth is not only to encourage you to expand your academic horizons, but also to enable you to bring a broader range of skills to the workplace. Within the Bachelor of Design breadth options may be restricted by students' choice of major. Subjects in the Handbook that are marked as available as breadth in the Bachelor of Design or Bachelor of Environments may be subject to further restrictions, students need to make sure they check the Handbook before enrolling into subjects.
